At certain stages in your life, you may feel the need to update your look – it could be a career change, pregnancy, post pregnancy, feeling like you want to dress appropriately for your age, or having a special occasion to look forward to. You may simply find you need some help to keep up with the latest fashion trends or to assist you in finding your own special style. Stylista can help you do that. It’s never too late!

Stylista has two business streams in personal shopping services. I can offer you the retail shopping experience and/or hand-me-down style, where a whole world of choices will be opened up to you through Melbourne’s vast range of second hand shopping outlets. I also provide a service in wardrobe assessment, where I’ll conduct a full image and style consultation to help you find your style.

Stylista’s background

I initially trained as a milliner, after which I moved on to become a buyer both in the domestic and international markets. For seven years, I was responsible for purchasing womenswear and accessories in the wholesale industry as well as a retail buying group.

I’ve also had extensive experience in the advertising sector, where the power of the image is everything. I spent more than a decade working with a range of business sectors from large multi nationals, retail, not-for-profit organisations and sole-traders in branding, marketing and communication.

I have a passion for all mediums of creativity.

In my work as a consultant, I have cast and styled models and directed photographic shoots in the fashion industry for magazines. I have styled models for fashion shows and prepared individuals for media appearances and for portrait photography.

My consultancy specialises in marketing, merchandising and communications for clothing stores, including web design and label marketing.
